My husband and I recently purchased a 1919 Georgian. We are doing quite a bit of work to it and it is undergoing a full interior and exterior remodel. That being said, we have a long road ahead of us but it has been really nice to find ways to use the grounds and gardens of the property. In the middle of the Summer we both agreed how nice it would be to get pieces that we could love for the long haul for our new back yard.
At our current home, I incorporating a bench from the Serena & Lily Gardener collection into our back patio and it has always been a piece that I knew was a great starter piece and we could grow that collection when we had more space. Since we have been eager to use the outdoor areas at the new house, I thought it would be a great time to invest in the Serena & Lily Gardener dining chairs. Just as the Gardener bench, the chairs are incredibly attractive and are made out of wrought iron and finished in white. They have a fresh perspective on an old school charm and are very inviting.
For all my pieces in the Garden collection I have selected the Perennials Coastal blue indoor/outdoor seat cushion. I think it is the perfect neutral blue to go with both foliage and a blue pool. The fabric is a basketweave so up close it is not just blue but is woven with white as well. Thy have lots of gorgeous options including, basketweave, solids, stripes, gingham, and florals. PS - Keep in mind that the seat cushion fabric itself is very durable but can also be unzipped and easily washed no matter what pattern you select!
As the weather in Texas is finally turned from a heat wave to crisp cool air, it has been fun to have some al fresco dining. My husband and I have had them by the pool to watch our girls swim as well as moving them into the garden for outdoor dining. We both find the chairs to be very comfortable and look forward to purchasing more. We are just over the moon to have such beautiful pieces to create special memories outside of the beginning of our new home chapter.
